Registration Guide

Individuals who wish to play in any CIHA league or team in winter or summer must register. This includes all Senior Leagues, Youth Leagues, Women's, Masters, and Representative Teams. New to CIHA and unsure how to get started? Please contact us.

If you already have an online CIHA account, simply Sign In to view all available programs and register.

Otherwise, follow these steps to create your online account and register (if you are under 18 years old, a parent/guardian must do this for you). You may need to purchase your yearly CIHA and NZIHF memberships during this process, and a credit/debit card payment is required to complete registration. If you are unable to purchase via credit/debit, please contact your league or team representative.

Step 1: Create Your CIHA Account

Adult players and parents of children who play need a CIHA online account to register in CIHA programs. (If you have already created an account, you can just "Sign In".)

Review these instructions and when ready, Click to Sign Up.

As shown in the image, click "Sign Up" on top and then click "Sign Up For You”. (Parents: click"Sign Up For You" and after you have created your account, you will be able to register children under your name).

Fill in your first name, last name, and email address and then click "Sign Up" on the bottom to create your account.

After clicking "Sign Up" you will receive an email with login information.

Step 2: Log In To Your Account

Once you create your account in Step 1, you will receive an email with your username and password.

If you cannot see the email, check your spam/junk folder as your email programme may have mistakenly marked the email as spam.

Note your password and click on the link in your email to log in. Once logged in, you may change your password and add other information to your account, including family members.

Step 3: Add Family Members

If you are registering for yourself, you can skip this step.

If you are registering for a child or other family member, create and log into you account using the instructions in Steps 1-2.

Once logged in, click the "Add/Edit FamilyMember" button on top and then the smaller "Add Family Member" button.

Choose the Relationship and input all information requested.

Once all the information is correct, click "I'm Finished" on the bottom.

Your family member has now been added to your account and you can register them in programs. Repeat this step for any other family members.

Step 4: Register

Once you have finished adding family members to your account (if applicable), click "Register" and find the program in which you wish to register. Note: the options you see will differ from the example and will show the currently available CIHA programs.

A player must be a member of CIHA and NZIHF in order to play organised ice hockey in any league/team within CIHA. If a registration requires CIHA and NZIHF memberships that you have not yet purchased, the system will add them to your cart during registration.

Find the desired program(s) and click "Register Now". The system will guide you through selecting the registrant, viewing and agreeing to CIHA waivers, answering other questions, and making payment for the programs.

Important Note: Your online registration is not complete until you have input your payment information, clicked "Process Now", and received registration confirmation.
