Canterbury's Premier Men's Team
The Canterbury Red Devils play in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL), which consists of 6 regional franchises competing across New Zealand in seasons from fall through early spring.
The NZIHL showcases the top hockey talent New Zealand has to offer, with each team supplemented by a limited amount of overseas players to expose players and fans to different playing styles and levels of skill. Past imports include skilled players from Canada, USA, France, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey and South Africa.
